ITECH Lyon is a globally-focused engineering school that trains engineers in cutting-edge fields: formulation chemistry (paints, inks, adhesives, and cosmetics), technical textiles, leather technology, and plastic materials.
Our research teams and students have access to high-tech equipment at the school and within dedicated technical centers.
Highly Professionalized Training
ITECH Lyon prepares engineers who are industry-ready upon graduation, already equipped with professional experience thanks to extensive periods spent in companies, whether under student status or through apprenticeship status (work-study program) A student will typically spend a total of 9 months in a company through yearly internships. In contrast, apprentices spend two-thirds of their time in a professional setting throughout the program.
Students are taught not only by research professors but also by industry professionals working in our specialized fields.

Companies are actively involved in various events and collaborate closely with the school: company days, job fairs, research projects, and more. They also contribute to developing future program content.
The school receives over 350 job, apprenticeship, and internship offers annually, with ITECH students and graduates highly sought after both in France and abroad.
An International Scope
The Master of Engineering in Applied Chemistry is also offered in English for international students or French students with strong English proficiency. All second-year students spend a semester abroad at one of our partner universities in America or Europe.
